Payne Whitney Manhattan's Psychiatric Emergency Room provides New Yorkers with access to emergency evaluation and care around the clock. Payne Whitney's Central Evaluation Service offers comprehensive diagnostic services for patients in need of hospitalization or outpatient treatment. The excellent Inpatient Service provides care for the acutely ill. Specialty outpatient clinical programs and treatments are available for people with a wide range of diagnoses, such as affective disorders, anxiety disorders and psychotic disorders.
