Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Research
Researchers of psychiatric disorders in children are interested in phenomenology and treatment. Areas of research include characterizations of children with attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder (ADHD), obsessive-complusive disorder (OCD), and bipolar disorder, as well as children who have been subjected to the trauma of sexual abuse. Relationships with the Sackler Institute of Developmental Psychobiology permit a broad range of clinical studies related to brain imaging and the genetics of childhood disorders.
