Services Delivery Research
The Department has a well regarded program in services delivery. For example, depression and anxiety may not be recognized or treated effectively. To help ameliorate this problem, researchers in the Department have been investigating ways to improve both diagnosis and treatment in a variety of therapeutic settings other than the traditional psychiatric clinic or psychiatrist's office. Some of this research is being conducted collaboratively with other major departments of psychiatry across the country.
